Here's how it works :

Getting Started – Parish Organizer

Ask our Blessed Mother to take care of all the details of this campaign. You only need 7 people for the Pope's Prayer Wheel and 7 more for the Bishop's.  Some people might want to do both!

If you have Marian contacts, start to call your friends at the Blue Army, Legion of Mary, Rosary Prayer Groups, Daily Communicants, Knights of Columbus, Eucharistic Adorers, etc. to solicit their support. There are endless possibilities.

The Prayer Wheel for the Pope is only 1 page; The Bishop/Cardinal’s is 2-sided.

Fill in your information as the Prayer Organizer at the bottom of the form.

If you'd like, you can download and cut out a Reminder Holy Card  to give to the 7 prayer participants.

Send the Prayer Wheels (you might want to make a copy) to your Diocesan Organizer  - or, if there is not one, mail to:        Mary Encounter P.O. Box 29 Elmhurst, IL 60126    or      Fax to 630-563-9119.

Getting Started – Diocesan Organizer

Follow the first two items noted in the Parish Organizer above. 

You basically are collecting the various Prayer Wheels from the parishes. Prepare to have your email given to the Parish Organizers so they can contact you.

If you are inclined, you are welcome to call your Diocesan Newspaper to solicit an article attracting pray-ers for this project.

Parish Organizers will be sending you both Pope Prayer Wheels and Bishop/Cardinal Prayer Wheels.  ONLY the Pope's will be sent to:   Mary Encounter P.O. Box 29 Elmhurst, IL 60126 or Fax them to 630-563-9119. 

The Bishop/Cardinal's Prayer Wheels will stay with you in the Diocese.  It's easier to keep the same deadline date, however, there is more flexibility since it is not time-sensitive.  They can be assembled and sent to the Bishop as a gift. You might want to center it around a Marian feast day.
